Beer News, Reviews and More!

About Me

My name’s Mark Robinson and I was turned onto craft beer by my wife, Patti, back in 2003.  We were just dating and living on the east coast at the time and she began introducing me to breweries like Harpoon, Magic Hat and of course, Dogfish Head.  I was instantly hooked.  If not for her, I might still be wasting my money and liver on Corona and limes…  We started taking road trips up and down the coast in search of great breweries and new beers.  I knew she was a keeper and we got married in 2005.

In 2005, we packed up our things and moved to Colorado, “The Napa Valley of Beer”!!!  Since moving to this amazing state, we’ve gotten sucked into the beer trading addicition, joined several beer clubs, started homebrewing, converted the basement into a man-cave / beer cellar and attended a ton of beer festivals and events across the U.S.  We’ve been to every corner of this great nation to visit breweries and still go beer trippin’ in search of new beers and old favorites any chance we get.  We even made it to Belgium a few years ago and hope to go back some day soon.

So yeah, I like love beer.  I spend much of my free time visiting breweries, seeking out new beers and attending beer festivals around the country.  Life is good, beer is delicious.  Drink it up.

Cheers!

You need to come up with a Beer Trail! I am new to the brew scene and need some direction. How about a few breweries in SE area (Aurora), metro, SW/W, north metro and outside the metro area. That way I can hit the Trail every weekend and check out the local pubs and brewhouses! Great idea or what?

Love the website – Weekend Beer Buzz is awesome!
