Well, we survived the “apocalypse”. Good job people. I’m proud of you.
We went from “the end of the world” right into “the most wonderful time of the year”. Yep, Christmas is here. I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday. It’s a pretty quiet week in the world of beer. I’m off work for a few days, so it’ll be a quick update. After all, I’ve got pirate ships and talking puppies to play with.

Down at Rockyard Brewing in Castle Rock, Jellyman’s releasing “Ball Dropper” for this week’s Deviation. This is an Eis’d Belgian Red Dark Strong. Jellyman describes this as “truly a fine ale for a world that was supposed to END! 11% ABV. Think dark fruit and molasses meets good ole funk!”

This is a 7.5% ABV hop-forward red.
Also hitting right now is Ska’s Vinifera Stout.
Vinifera Stout is an 8% ABV, oak aged foreign style stout brewed with Malbec grapes.
